I found a php class in the SVN which is MogileFS client, so it that mean wikipedia is using MogileFS?

we're not using it.
In theory it could be nice, but in reality not that many people here speak that kind of Perl. ;-)

NFS -> a box with a lot of disks -> lighttpd -> squid
