Is someone's bot out of control?
Developers, please investigate this ASAP. --Ed Poor

Why is the Wikibot replacing all instances of the phrase "Black Panther" with a redirect to the article on [[murder]]? This seems very unjustified.

I didn't see this particular instance of wiki-violation, but I can say that Alexandros as far as I know is the only active user of pywikipediabot that, even though I asked him at least twice, is not a member of the mailing list for the robot code. I also think he did not discuss the use of the robot on en:. I am in favor of using robots (especially the ones I help to code), but I am an advocate of only using them after proper discussion of their merits. Alexandros does not seem to be listening to reason.

I have posted an extensive analysis of what was going on on wikien-l. Basically, it looks like Alexandros was running one of the bot-programs to test it, and did not clean up his mess afterward (he made 4 edits with it, all 4 incorrect, and I have not seen it being used before or after). On the mailing list I advised him to only use that specific program on test.wikipedia.org until he understands it, however:
1) I don't think he is reading the mailing list, and 2) He seems to have already decided to leave Wikipedia.
