Hello all,
any news when the EditAPI will be enabled site-wide? IMO it's been running long enough now on testwiki and has proven to be stable enough.

Nobody's bothered telling us how stable it is, apparently. :)

If people want to use it for something other that occasional JS, Edit API must have the feature request from bug 14261 implemented. Also, there could be some more problems we haven't noticed yet due to the limited scale of the testing.
I wrote some thoughts about the activation at http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/User:MaxSem/Write_API_preparations I invite all interested developers and bot writers to review, edit and discuss it.
