Hi all,
I'd like to find out, if/how it is possible to upload several files or pictures at once. It seemed to my that it was possible to upload a .zip file of several pictures, but obviously it's a feature of a different cms??
many thanks for any hints.
eric.

That's interesting, thanks.
Do we have a catalog somewhere listing all the mediawiki associated programs (like commonplace) that various people have worked on? I searched meta and couldn't find anything.
If there isn't such a thing, maybe I'll compile one (bots, browser extensions, scripts, stats programs, etc.)
Hi,
Thanks for this hint, but this screenshot looks like the programm was written for a very bad operating system, which I haven't been using for a long time.
any other suggestions how to do it the simple way?
scp upload or something?
cheers, eric

There are several scripts to do the uploading (i.e. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:File_upload_service/Script) floating around. I doubt it could be made as simple as scp as you'll have to update the database. Although you could have an upload daemon running the script in the background, polling a directory, and you could scp stuff to that directory.
