Hi,
[[meta:MediaWiki_roadmap]] states that RSS syndication is available for many special pages, such as Special:Newpages. Which special pages are you talking of?
* wiki.phtml?title=Special:Newpages&feed=rss
is ok. But all the other pages I tried do not work
* Special:Recentchangeslinked * Special:Whatlinkshere * Special:Watchlist * Special:Categories * ...
Have a look at

There is a Link in the Toolbox (rss/atom) but it does not work?
Thanks, Jakob

Right now, Newpages and Recentchanges only.

Odd. That shouldn't show.

Is it currently possible to limit the number of entries returned from a feed? I've been watching the Minnan newpages feed grow longer and longer with seemingly no end in sight. So I tried the English version and the server kept on loading until I felt I was abusing it so I stopped it. I don't know how popular Wikipedia feeds are, but surely a limit would help the servers.
My 2 cents.

Same as everything else, &limit=X
I tried that before as an obvious parameter to use, but it didn't yield the expected result. For example, with the following test URL I got well over 10 items (cache cleared).

Oops, you're right. Feed requests seems to be hardcoded to a limit of 50. That's probably not the best idea... though I guess I didn't want arbitrarily _large_ feed requests. hmm...

Hmm, weird (and I hope I'm not belaboring this) but the limit can be much greater than 50, at least with the installed version. Such that this dumps more than 100 items regardless:

DE returns a whooping 8 MB feed (nearly 3500 articles). I don't think anyone would be requesting this on frequent schedule (I hope not :) ):

Heh, whoops! Fixed.
