I am interested in installing the EasyTimeline extension. Unfortunately documentation of this is rather sparse. I even wrote the author, Erik, of the EasyTimeline script, but he did not know how to do this for mediawiki. After some fruitless attempts to get an answer via IRC, I will now try it this way.
Where can I read more about installing the EasyTimeline extension for mediawiki? Who can help me setting it all up?

What did you try? Which error messages or results did you get?
Basically, extensions are enabled by including the extension/dir/extensioncode.php script into LocalSettings.php, e.g. using include("extensions/timeline/Timeline.php");
