I seem to have some sort of spam attack that is adding the following tag to multiple pages.
Anyone know what it might do?

It would appear to be the first step to something else...
The height:1px means that the text it inserted would be nearly invisible.
The only thing I can think of is that they'll come back later, and put a link to a site inside the <div> to up their reference count in an attempt to get higher placement in a Google search.
Of course, it could be something entirely different. But you won't SEE anything.

This is the wrong mailing list. Please see mediawiki-l, where the issue has already been reported. The spam started with <div id="wikitikitavi...", but now is using other ID names, mostly starting with <div id="wiki...".

Using $wgSpamRegex to block <div id="wiki might help. I've not tried it myself yet.

WikiTikiTavi attacks occured on many Wikipedias, as a matter of fact.
