The main images for en.wikipedia.org have been moved to a less loaded server, and the brief upload outage is past.

We're still fiddling with thumbnail images, so you may occasionally see a cached page where a thumbnail doesn't display properly until that's done. If this happens, just use the old ?action=purge thing, which should force the thumbnail to regenerate.
