Hey,
Most urgent open issues
This contains two entires for the Education Program extension. Both are however marked as fixed, so it would seem like the reporter tool has a bug.
Cheers

The (new) list of "urgent open issues" also includes already closed tickets, but it shouldn't. Sorry for the confusion here. Still need to figure out what's wrong exactly with the SQL query in https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/gitweb?p=operations/puppet.git;a=blob;f=templ...

These would be useful, in a general way, to have autogenerated each week/month/quarter.
Some event-specific ones would be neat, too; I remember Ubuntu Bug Days having a time-bounded chart for the event day showing the impact it had on bug numbers (it surprisingly usually did, even with their massive bug databases in LP).

Yes, that is the idea behind http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Community_metrics (still manual)
I just need to find some time to define what metrics do we want to automate and then find some way / someone to implement them.
Your feedback about what metrics do you need and why is welcome in the talk page.

We are discussing how to measure the success of bug days at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Talk:QA/Strategy and your feedback is also welcome!

If we can get (weekly) report in csv file, it should be trivial to implement. Plain text format (like it is now) would be slightly more work.

Some (not all) of the SQL queries in https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/gitweb?p=operations/puppet.git;a=blob;f=templ... which creates the email could also be run via the Bugzilla web interface which allows exporting to CSV, but right now I don't see how this could be combined. Bugzilla's chart.cgi itself is rather bad when it comes to creating and showing changes over time. :-/

OpenStack also have live graphs at http://status.openstack.org/bugday/ for their bugdays (e.g. https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/BugDays/20121213BugSquashing ), but I have no idea about the implementation, plus bugdays look dormant there. If anybody has contacts to OpenStack, I'd be interested to know.

Do hangout on IRC in #openstack-infra during US business days. The folks there are most probably maintaining this :-]
As usual, just introduce yourself, state you are related to Wikimedia and you will receive a warm welcome!

Thanks to Luis for making contact!
Thierry Carrez answered that the code to generate those graphs is at https://github.com/ttx/bugdaystats , and "There is a stats file refresh that runs regularly (like in a crontab) and then client-side code to generate dynamic graphs from those static stats." So if anybody feels like playing with it, go ahead!
