It isn't like there's anything to decide - the system is heavily
overloaded and the alternatives are to have Wikipedia with
search engine redirected to Google (what is good enough in most cases)
or Wikipedia that is too slow to use.
If you think there's some other way, you're free to submit
performance-enhancing patches and we will be happy to apply there.
If you have some spare hardware, we could find some use for it,
but at the moment our database is too centralized.
