Hey,
I don't know if wget has some 2GB issues as well, but the debug output I posted here was the plain client request and server response, i.e. the response was not altered by wget. So I am sure the server is buggy, because it's response is simply inappropriate.
SERVER IS NOT BUGGY (<small>after my small source hack :)</small>). Try now and report :)

Hi Domas, did you manage to download the file now? Which command did you use? I am trying to install curl but it failes due to the fact that I can not find libcrypto.so.2 and libssl.so.2

Both wget and curl work fine under Fedora Core 3. But old versions of wget cannot download large files. (I have version 1.9+cvs-stable (Red Hat modified)). You can also try lynx (lynx -dump), tough I didn't test it.
