The homepage is protected on and off. Several of us want us it to stay available to everyone. And having it become protected because of the action of Papotages is quite a victory of him on us.

Our two main problems in letting the main page free for edition so is 1) someone (an anon ip) tries to impose us some links we chose not to have (such as the memorial); and 2) Papotages.

For the latter, if we protect this page, he vandalises the talk page, or the "encyclopedie" page; if we protect the "encyclopedie" page, he vandalises "censure" and so on.

At least, any wikipedian can revert the main page if necessary

But most of Papotages message goes through the title of the articles created, as these necessarily convey meaning in recent changes; even when deleted.
