The board received a request today from a person complaining there was an article about him on wikipedia and it was showing up in google. He asked that all references to him be removed.
I informed him the article had been recently deleted.
However, I wonder if the vote for deletion/nameOfTheGuy will not go up showing in google as well ?
Are the pages vote for delection/foo visible to Google or not ? If they are, should they not be deleted after a while or in certain situations ?

They are visible, and I think they should be. Simply storing them does not impact Wikipedia's performance (unless, of course, we run out of disk space, but I suppose that's not too much of a problem). I do not believe that people have a right to demand that these pages be removed (unless, of course, they contain libel or slander) because they are part of the normal operation of Wikipedia, and deleting them would disrupt it (albeit slightly).
