I'd like to do some screenshots at web.archive.org. Is it possible to store the old Nupedia-logo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:NupediaLogo.jpg) at http://www.nupedia.com/nup4c5.jpg and the old Wikipedia-logo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Wiki_logo_Nupedia.jpg) at * http://www.wikipedia.com/wiki.jpg * http://deutsche.wikipedia.com/wiki.jpg * http://de.wikipedia.com/wiki.jpg so the copys at web.archive.org look like in the old days?

When I view old Nupedia/Wikipedia.com pages via the Wayback Machine, I see the old logos already. For example:
http://web.archive.org/web/20010118225800/http://www.nupedia.com/ http://web.archive.org/web/20010331173908/http://www.wikipedia.com/
FYI, the mechanism for patching the archived page to use contemporaneous embedded images relies on Javascript. Perhaps you have Javascript disabled in your browser, and merely need to reenable it to get the screenshots you need?

That does the trick. My ad blocker was the problem. Thanks!
