Your membership in the mailing list WikiEN-l has
been disabled
due to excessive bounces The last bounce received from you was
dated 01-Oct-2003. You will not get any more messages from
this list until you re-enable your membership. You will
receive 3 more reminders like this before your membership in
the list is deleted.
I don't know what that's about, unless I've posted too many times in one
day? It would be ironic if the LIST ADMINISTRATOR himself got deleted
from the mailing list!! ^_^
I'd have to go in, *as administrator*, and re-instate myself.
A 'bounce' is a mail the mailing list attempted to send to you that
has failed due to some reason (e.g.: mail address invalid, maximum
mailbox size reached, etc). If too many of the mails it tries to send
to you bounce, the mailing list software assumes that your email-
account is either broken or expired and stops sending more mails.
So it's not related to the number of articles you sent to the list
but the numbers of mails the list was not able to deliver to you.
Ed, are you suffering from a deluge of swen worms at the moment? These can
fill your mailbox and cause bounces. If you need help with dealing with
it, email me off-list.
