Just a quick note: Antoine updated the diff view styles in trunk to use the green/blue scheme that's been in use on fr.wikipedia.org and others for some time:

This should be a bit more consistent than the scheme we were using in 1.18, and is specifically designed to be legible to people with various types of color blindness as well as the general population.

As i've pointed out else where, especially to be considerate for our colour blind friends (depending on what group they are in), We should be consistent with out colour schemeing, Although this should be the only usage in core (as far as I know), We have seem to have started using blue for buttons to indicate "Ok"/"Go" so that shouldn't be mixed in a display with Green which is commonly used to indicate a similar meaning.
(Having blue for those buttons, though, Is a completely different discussion)
Forwarding to wikitech-ambassadors. If someone thinks it's a bad idea, this is the time to bring it up, not in several months, when deployed.
