Hey everybody, just a quick heads-up --
With Tim expected to be super busy in the following weeks, I'll be pitching in an extra hour or two a day to help with code review and patch advice. I've still got a pretty full plate over at StatusNet so I won't be available all day, but what time I do have will be blocked out and dedicated to review for MediaWiki.
My provisional 'code review office hours' today will be 7-9pm Pacific (02:00-4:00 UTC); tomorrow I'll try balancing it with some morning time which may be more accessible for some folks!

What sort of things can we send to you for review?
For instance, Tim is not as good a resource for Javascript reviews. But I've seen you do a lot of frontend code at Maker Faire so I assume you're cool with that?

I'll be happy to look over JS stuff, though I still need to get up to speed on the current state of things as I know that's changed since I've poked it last. :)

Can I add installer review to your list? I've reviewed a lot (most?) of other people's work to it, but there's quite a bit of my work outstanding.

Would it be ok if I helped with this bit (assuming you mean to include new-installer)? I've been looking over a bit of new-installer and would love to contribute more here.
Mark.
Sure, the more eyes the better! I know you'd been pitching in before (but I didn't know what your current availability is like)

Woohoo!!!!! I think getting the JS / resource loader code into good shape is quite important, and will impact developers downstream who are working on extensions and such.

Yeah... I'm definitely liking what I'm seeing so far API-wise for usage of the resource loader and jQuery-esque simplifications in frontend code, though I haven't grokked the performance implications yet (certainly a lot of extra DB hits in my logs, but I haven't tried tuning caching on this test instance).
