In http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:Code/MediaWiki/41710 Poem Extension is integrated with MediaWiki. Yay!
However, this was done without mentioning either me or Steve Sanbeg (who did more work on it than me) anywhere. Worse, whoever this Nathaniel Herman is, he didn't forgot to sign himself in both CREDITS and RELEASE-NOTES so that it appears that he is the author while in fact he has only adjusted the extension to the core.
This is pure plagiarism, and I am asking to see it rectified, by adding me and Steve to MediaWiki's CREDITS and RELEASE-NOTES as appropriate.
I believe I'm one of several who question the usefulness of Poem being integrated in core, especially under such a use-specific name.
This lack of credit (where credit is obviously due) just adds to the reasons it should be removed, at least in my book.

I still think it's a terrible idea for it to be merged into core under that name. It's way, way more generic than poems, and practically no wikis have any significant number of poems.

Note that it's most likely that Skizzerz changed CREDITS and RELEASE-NOTES, not the patch submitter. I'm pretty sure we don't need to be crediting anyone in RELEASE-NOTES anyway, when we have CREDITS now.
I don't have the time to fix this at the moment, but I'm sure someone will soon.

Done in r43520. I've reverted r41710, r41978 r42012, and r42048 as a result.
