Hello,
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24620
What is the status on this bug exactly. I ran across it, but don't really know enough about the i18n system to figure out if the problem was fixed. Alternatively it could be that I simply don't know what I am doing in Bugzilla in general (something I hope to fix).
Would anyone be willing to let me know where this bug stands, or close it if it should be closed?
Thank you,

See https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42893#c1 Nobody has been working on this for years and nobody plans to work on it. Adopting the new log system is not hard in itself, but it requires a deep knowledge of the log type being converted and/or a lot of research. So, extremely boring + left to volunteers + high risk of breakage = almost never going to happen. Every now and then someone, while refactoring things, also converts a log from old to new format.
Nemo
The rewrite did happen, so what is actually left, like Nemo pointed out, is converting the remaining places in the code using the old logging code to the new one.
I tried to clarify that by changing the bug title and blockers.
PS: the new logging system also brings other benefits than better i18n.
