So, I did a new version of the OpenID extension today, and I wanted to tag it in Subversion. I couldn't find a place where tags for extensions live, and I didn't feel comfortable adding something to the top level of tags. So, I added a tag here:
http://svn.wikimedia.org/svnroot/mediawiki/tags/extensions/OpenID/REL0_7_0
Wrong? Right? Better ideas? Is there anything that automatically reads the tags dir and will choke on this?

Sounds fine. :)
Since a version or two back I've also been branching the whole extensions dir alongside phase3 for each MediaWiki release so you can grab extensions as of each release branch. Dunno if anyone's interested in maintaining them along there, but there was some interest in at least having it available.
So eg:
http://svn.wikimedia.org/svnroot/mediawiki/branches/REL1_10/extensions/OpenI...
http://svn.wikimedia.org/svnroot/mediawiki/branches/REL1_11/extensions/OpenI...
etc
