I'd like to draw some additional attention to the fact that the MediaWiki release tags and branches have disappeared from the git repo mirror on GitHub.

Having this disruption for anyone who relies on this mirror be addressed in a timely manner would be great.

github's renamed projects and gerrit's replication got in the way of each other. The issue is now resolved.
