Hello
I'm pleased to announce the release of MathTran 0.2
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=190769&package_id=
223850
and its installation on the MathTran web server
http://www.mathtran.org
This release provides TeX running as a daemon, providing
TeX typesetting as a web service. At present, the only
format provided is Secure Plain, a variant of Plain TeX.
For more information, visit the website, particularly
http://www.mathtran.org/faq.html
I intend later to post some messages to this list about MediaWiki
tools and projects such as texvc, blahtex and wikitex, and their
relation to MathTran.
I think that the performance and security model of MathTran
may be of particular interest to you.
