I have commited a demo XML->XHTML output to the CVS. Lacking the real-time wiki2XML parser, a hardcoded test string is used instead (ParserXML.php). It shows * The dumped XML (which looks like plain text) * The XHTML-parsed part * The XML as a tree on the same page.

This petty demo already does many things like lists, tables, bold/italics etc. but not links so far. I hope this can become the basis for XHTML generation one day, as well as PDF generation etc.

To turn it on, put $wgUseXMLparser = true ; in your LocalSettings.php
