Hi all,
When accessing Wikimedia sites this evening, I have noticed that at the top of every wiki is the following text:
<centralnotice-template-plain_text_election_notice>
This however was not appearing a few hours ago. Is there a problem that I should know about or is it my own error somewhere?
Thanks.

Something broke, and I don't understand CentralNotice enough to fix it, so I just disabled the notice on Special:CentralNotice on meta and left a note in the Server Admin Log and in the Special:CentralNotice interface message. Presumably another shell user will see it tomorrow and we can figure out how to get it working again.
The update should have propagated by now, but some pages may need purging.
