https://github.com/OSAS/strapping-mediawiki looks pretty awesome! (Example at http://www.ovirt.org/Home). This also makes bootstrap's classes / layouting helpers available to content inside the wiki itself, which is pretty cool.

Oh man, We need that in core by default :-] Lot of people use bootstrap nowadays and I guess that will be a good way for them to easily build new skins using something they already know.
Next project idea: get a twitter bootstrap customized to look like Vector so we can create tiny website that have the look'n feel of Vector without having to install all of MediaWiki. I could use that for a few static sites.
Patrick had also shown this to me a while back and I've made a demo for a replacement skin on labsconsole using a modified version of it:
https://labsconsole-test.wmflabs.org/wiki/Main_Page
The strapping skin itself has a few bugs that need to be fixed. I've fixed them and will be working on upstreaming them.

I just installed this theme in my mediawiki and am now trying it out. There is a problem with it though, for me, at least. The text forms are all the same size.
I use the quiz extension and it will change the size of the form according to the size of the word the person has to fill in. Does anyone have a clue why this extension has lost its ability to change form sized after this theme got installed?

Enable debug mode (https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/ResourceLoader/Features#Debug_mode) then visit the problematic page. Firebug will show which CSS is "winning", which will probably be something in Bootstrap.
