Hoi, I cannot edit in English on the Marathi wikipedia any more.. The system only allows me to add the script that is associated with Marathi. I understand that the Marathi Wikipedia is reasonably well localised, it would be certainly much better when Marathi MediaWiki installations function as they should.
Can someone please help out on this ?
Thanks, GerardM

Hoi, When I TYPE in Marathi wiktionary in the search box, I get अरथि. When I COPY in Marathi, I can search for Marathi.
When I try to write on a talk page, the script will be the Marathi/Devangari script. My user preferences are for "nl-Nederlands". I have written on the user talk page of Mahitgar, I pasted this in. Consequently I can only suggest that the localisations on the Marathi Wiktionary are truly damaged.
Thanks, GerardM

The local sysop, Mahitgar, has enabled Devangari transliteration via site JS, by sourcing http://new.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Translit.js from http://mr.wiktionary.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Monobook.js.
You can take it up with him, or disable JavaScript in your browser.
