Hello
I am looking for a simple, no online, converter either
- latex2wiki
- html2wiki
I have seen some converters for producing math formulas, music etc. For me a simple html2wiki converter would be fine.
Thanks

You might try my HTML::WikiConverter Perl module (available from CPAN [1]) which comes with a simple html2wiki command-line interface. [[Wikipedia:Tools]] might also be of use [2].

Thanks:
The second can't transform tables and cannot deal with simple mark up such as textit{test}. Yours looks interesting I installed it BUT, forgive me I don't understand the help (man HTML::WikiConverter) nor do I find that html2wiki script you are talking about.
Can you just give me a small hint?
Thanks

I just released a new version of the Eclipse Wikipedia Editor for Eclipse 3.1: http://sourceforge.net/project/admin/editpackages.php?group_id=128886
Main description and installation: http://www.plog4u.org/index.php/Using_Eclipse_Wikipedia_Editor
In the editorarea you can insert HTML texts converted to Wiki texts from the Clipboard: http://www.plog4u.org/index.php/Using_Eclipse_Wikipedia_Editor:Working_with_...
The same HTML to Wiki converter is online available here: http://www.jtidy.de

Thanks, the truth is I would prefer an external editor (Xemacs), it seems that there are very little no online converters around.
