Hmm. I don't really understand. How do I use mwdumper?
Double-clicking it comes up with an error ("The jar
file "mwdumper.jar" couldn't be launched. Check the
Console for possible error messages") . I'm almost
completely ignorant about unix stuff, so can you be
clearer? Is there one terminal command which will
import the "articles.xml" file that I mentioned into
my Wiki?

| Hi all. Newbie here.
Hi. :-)
You must use mwdumper not importDump.php. It is most
complex - you need at
least two steps if not used pipe, but it is only
right and quick way for
very big wikis. importDump.php has still bugs and
even if works, works as
slow as snile (it's truth).
Look

Using mwdumper with --order & --format you must
preserve this sequence. If
you code for ex. ... --format=sql:1.5
--output=blabla ... you not get .sql
but not converted .xml :-))
