*What is Wikifont?* Wikifont is an embedded webfont https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_typography which contains single color glyphs for common iconography used in our projects. It is part of our move toward a unified cross-device/platform user interface, sometime referred to as mediawiki.ui Its also a way to reduce the number of calls to the server for assets (yay performance!)
*What you may learn at this talk:* Is wikifont relevant to my work? (*hint: yes*) How do I use WikiFont? How do I request new assets in WikiFont? Who is using WikiFont already (Mobile Apps, Flow, Mobile Web, Some Beta Features) How does WikiFont work with i18n l10n? Do we hate IE6 users?
