Martijn, thanks for mentioning Oda's post and bringing up Mailman 3. A bug to upgrade at least some small Wikimedia lists to Mailman 3 is here https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64547 . There I link to some samples so people can check out the new archiver (a replacement for pipermail); I mostly like it.
