lynx renders blockquotes indented two extra columns:
<p>this is text</p>
<blockquote>a blockquote</blockquote>
<p>this is text</p>
as
this is text
a blockquote
this is text
I think some graphic browsers Italicize a blockquote, and some screen readers might change voice.
That's why we have style sheets. :)
