I get
Host 'larousse.wikipedia.org' is blocked because of many connection errors. Unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts'
error messages in about 2 from 3 tries to contact wikipedia.
JeLuFBrion goes on vacation and everything starts to fall apart. First order of business of the Wikimedia Foundation is to set up a fund to clone Brion. :-)

I'm having the same problem. I got on three in ten attempts. When I got on I tried a save but got that message above. When I finally got on again I found my change had been saved. I tried again to work on an article, did a save and again got the message. But this time when I finally got on a third time, the second save had not worked. And when I tried to mail the wikilist I got error messages there too.
