Hi,
Upon creating a Selenium test to run through the Navigable Table of Contents on http://prototype.wikimedia.org/en-wp/index.php?title=Manchester_Small-Scale_..., I noticed the instruction: Verify that moving the cursor from one section to another causes the various sections to be highlighted in the table of contents . I do not see this and wonder if it applies to an older edited version. Does this instruction still apply as the contents appear in the preview section above the edit text box? If so, is it expected that moving the cursor from one section to another in the edit window highlights the matching section in the preview section above?
I went to the live sandbox at http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Sandbox&action=submi<goog_1090557813> t<%20http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Sandbox&action=submi... to verify the edit functionality with the preview and edit section. Again, I am confused as to whether moving the cursor from one section to another, in the edit box, highlights the matching section in the preview box. Are there any insights?
The feature described (navigable table of contents) is not live on Wikipedia, which is why it won't work there. The compat matrix you've stumbled upon is an old document superseded by another one, AFAIK, so the information in it is probably outdated.
