In the meantime, please don't tell people that they can't share their professional opinions and experiences with the limitations and problems of old-fashioned shared hosting and the promises of modern VPS-based hosting. That's valuable input, too.
I agree.
If I can across as saying "Your opinion doesn't matter" that was not intended. Deciding that MediaWiki shouldn't worry about shared hosting is a major change, though, and it needs more discussion than just the developers and users with substantial technical skill.
