Hi.
On Oct 14 2003, at 23:24, I created an entry for "KDM" using the username "Alexbatko".
Some minute ealier, I had created that account (Alexbatko), but in the heat of the moment my mouse went nuts and it must have pasted the wrong set of characters into the password field.
So the problem is that I can't log back into my account because I don't know what characters were pasted into the password text box
I realised this once I was logged in, but at that point I had already cleared the mouse buffer. To try to resolve the problem, I went into preferences and saw that my email address "abatko@cs.mcgill.ca" was set. So I tried to email the password to myself by using the corresponding "Mail me a new password" button on the main login page.
Unfortunately I still haven't received the email.
I've also posted a bug report on sourceforge (bug id# 823808), but the problem is still unresolved, and i really want to access the account.
Is it at all possible that someone could manually reset the password and send it to me
Strange, it worked for me. I just changed your registered email address to my address, clicked "mail me a new password", and the new password arrived instantly. I'll forward the email to you.
The email address you have registered with Wikipedia is indeed the same one you used to send this post.
