More significantly than the spelling, the software defaults shouldn't be claiming to be an encyclopedia, free or otherwise. :) Can you check if this is still present in 1.5rc3?

Go to [[Special:Allmessages]] on your wiki and you should find a big list of all the user interface messages. They're stored in special editable wiki pages, initialised from the arrays in language/Language*.php at install time. As a sysop user you can edit them; use search and click the links from the list.
