This happens in Monobook too, for ages. In English and Hebrew, too. I hoped that Vector would solve it, but it didn't.
It is broken in Chrome and in Firefox on XP, Vista and Ubuntu. Strangely, it is broken in IE8 on XP, but it is *not* broken in IE8 on Vista.
