Well you can also edit from port 80 (unless we deployed site-wide SSL without me knowing).
Has a bug been filed for this? This sounds like an Extension:TorBlock issue (and is also probably my fault in some manner assuming this is a regression, which it may or may not be).

HTTPS, i.e. port 443, is the ONLY way to edit WikiMedia projects, so I thing such servers (those reject port 443 of WikiMedia servers) should by excluded from Public proxy blacklist of WikiMedia.
