What stupid name is that for a list, and what on earth are "new site issues" supposed to mean? A have an issue with this name. Search http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Mailing_list for the word issue, and it pops up on every mailing list there is.
I completely agree. I also don't get what this does that this mailing list and BugZilla (in combination) don't already do.
This is not to say that it's a bad idea or anything, just that I don't understand the idea, and that the name "issues-l" does not give me the slightest clue.
