I'm sorry, of course I meant MediaWiki when I was writing Wikimedia.
My bad. /peter

I will start by admitting that I am new to Wikimedia but very much impressed by this piece of software.
I am working a small community that consists of three parts that very much do not work together, even so I have taken on the task to bring PHPBB, Coppermine and Wikimedia together under one shared login.
I've managed to merge the user-databases together into one for all three and Coppermine and PHPBB can share login session, which leaves me to Wikimedia.
So my question is, how can I hack the login?
I can consider doing something strange like created a separate loginform and post to a page which in turn posts to two different pages, the PHPBB login and Wikimedia login. I've realised that Wikimedia has a class for the login handling but I have not yet figured out how I can use it.
My thougt is that I can use this login-class on the login-page of PHPBB and validate login there, which actually would be two different logins, but be both should be done in the click of one button. Since username and password are shared I can use only the validation from PHPBB and only create the login-sessino and wikimedia, and of course, do a similiar action when logging out.
How do I use the userlogin-class for this purpose? Is it even possible?
