Please restore old meaning of <pre> which suppressed interpretation of wiki markup ! (for Polish Wikipedia at least, I don't care much whether others will have broken markup)
It broke virtually all code examples on Polish Wikipedia !!!
It did the same in the English Wikipedia; they have now been fixed. I think Lee argued at the time for the new conventions. I don't think it is a good idea to use differing Wiki markup semantics on the different language Wikipedias, because then cut-and-paste becomes impossible and maintaining the code turns into a nightmare.
Having to fight all these gratuitous changes is a nightmare already. Please either restore <pre> to old meaning on all Wikipedias or just on Polish.
