For user_talk page changes only one E-mail is sent to the owner of that User_talk page, and not for own edits. This feature could ***perhaps*** be enabled generally or switched on for privileged contributors, developers and sysops only. But is written above, I am just curious about this number, if it you can supply me with this.

I checked the german database dump of aug 11 (cur and old): In the 5 weeks of july 4 to aug 8 there were _per day_

175 _user page_ edits, thereof 38 edits by (registered) others than the owner 8 edits by anons other than the owner 130 edits by the (registered) owner

317 _user talk page_ edits, thereof 231 edits by (registered) others than the owner 15 edits by anons other than the owner 69 edits by the (registered) owner 1 edit by the anon owner
