Every couple weeks I do $ svn diff -r BASE:HEAD RELEASE-NOTES and if all looks safe, I then do $ svn update I don't want a bunch of whitespace diffs clogging up my view of the real changes. Nor do I want a more detailed view. Nor do I want to need to write a script to post process the diffs.
