If you don't control your own IP space and have your own BGP ASN, things like this happen.
They happen if you control it yourself, but you are responsible, and usually end up being able to know the actual root cause... 8-P
Has there been any interest towards getting Wikipedia / WMF projects an AS number and a dedicated portable IP space allocation?
