Still wondering about the same question every week. Are there any plans/schedule for updating to jQuery/jQuery UI 1.9 at this point? Would be neat to have the new jQuery.ui.Widget related features of 1.9 available.

is there already a schedule to update jQuery and jQuery UI to 1.9 or are there problems at moment? I want to use the new tooltip widget of jQuery UI 1.9 [1].
