Hello.
I am Agastya, a Wikimedian from India.
I was wondering if any of you could get some good photographs from tomorrow's Irish referendum for the legality of abortion. It is an important and sensitive topic, and it is possible some people would carry placards/banners for the referendum. There might even be a peaceful protest. Or even if you could get me photos of queues of people waiting in line to vote.
Please get some great photos and upload them to Commons as soon as possible.
Consider adding Category:May 25, 2018 Irish referendum to the media files.
Thank you for your time!

Since I see that you're on twitter, Agastya, I'll mention #8thref to you: https://twitter.com/hashtag/8thref?src=hash You will find public (though not open content) photos there so far.

Hi Agastya,
I'm an Irish Wikimedian. Unfortunately you are a little late to get many high quality or interesting images. Firstly most campaigns have finished now, and there are very strict rules about campaigning on polling day. Even in 2015 with the marriage equality referendum that had a good voter turn out, I didn't see any queues at polling stations, and as a voter I'm prohibited from taking photos in the polling station http://www.thejournal.ie/voting-eighth-amendment-guide-4014941-May2018/.
All of the larger demonstrations have already happened, and given the tensions around I don't know how welcome photos would be - there has been a lot of aggression between the two campaign camps using go-pros and filming etc.
Sorry! Rebecca
