We have been working hard with our panel of judges, sorting through all the photographs submitted to this year's competition. *Wiki Science*

We are very excited to announce that Ireland will be taking part in Wiki Science https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wiki_Science_Ireland_2017 for the first time this year, with competition running from 1-30 Novemeber. Wiki Science is a photo competition looking for images under 5 broad categories relating to science: people in science, microscopy images, non-photographic media, image sets, and a general category. In Ireland we will also be awarding a sixth prize for an image of Women in STEM.

We will be having a launch event long with our Wiki Loves Monuments Awards night in the Science Gallery, 9 November at 6:30pm.
