I was reviewing the program Wikimania and see that our submission is scheduled for Sunday 10 at 14:30 ( https://wikimania2014.wikimedia.org/wiki/Submissions/Context_visualization_f...). However we have not received any notice that our submission has been accepted. If the submission has been accepted, I depend on the VISA formalities to know if I can be at Wikimania. I should also cover all my expenses so I would like to know all I need to do charges at the conference as inscriptions and others.
Thanks a lot.

You're right - somehow it was missed when sending out the formal acceptances. Incoming.

I have just seen that my submission ([1]) have been scheduled for Sunday 10 between 14:30 and 16:00 but I have received no notice of acceptance too.
So, there may be more than one submission in the same case.
Thanks a lot,
Thomas (User:Tpt)

I also just sent you one - because some people withdrew, your submissions got onto the roster but for some reason you weren't sent the email. Not sure why it didn't happen, it was clearly marked as such. Sorted now.

What is the situation with the submissions still under review?
I am especially talking about the Open Data track, which has some great and specific submissions. Despite the Open Data track itself is scheduled, the only Open Data session scheduled is the "Open Data Roundtable" which is a red link in the program.
Regards,
Manuel

Due to intermittent withdrawals, we may be accepting a few more sessions, but impossible to predict how many. I haven't been able to send out definite rejections yet for this reason; I'm considering making a shortlist of maybe 15 sessions that are officially "on standby" and then formally rejecting the rest, but I haven't had time to do this yet.
It is with great regret that I can't accept all the sessions I want :( but I've already packed the programme as full as it can go! I think the average score for the accepted sessions is 8.9 or something like that.
Incidentally, I'd like to bring your attention to the meetups, which anyone can submit and host: https://wikimania2014.wikimedia.org/wiki/Meetups
