Could anyone give an update on the status of lightning talk and poster
submissions? The Submissions page [1] says we should've expected a
decision a month ago. A colleague of mine has proposed a poster but has
yet to hear back; the decision may affect whether he can attend. It
would also be great to know in advance so we can prepare. :-) Thank you!

Hi all,
I have to ask one of these naive (European) questions:
My colleagues and me, we have mostly adapters for the "B" socket type
(those with a round grounding). Can we use them in the Sheraton hotel – or
do we need the "A" socket type adapters (those sockets without an entry for
the round grounding)?

I'm Jinal Foflia from India and my workshop (Mapathon! Contribute and
connect OpenStreetMap and Wikipedia using Wikidata [1]) is accepted. It's
been almost a week since I requested about the need for a letter of
support/visa invitation from the organizers to go ahead with my visa
application process.
This is a vital document
