Dear Anthere:
I'm DAUCTER, and just take resposible for the registration and the
accomadaiton for Wikimina 2007.
If the board wanted to have a meeting before or after Wikiminia, please just
let us know the further dertails. And we would like to arrange for the board
meeting.
Let me remind you, because the summer vocation, Chien Tan Overseas Youth
(CTOY) will become popular during this time. It may need to registrate for
the accommodations earlier. And I'll ask CTOY when is deadline to confirm
the accommodation.
So, if the board make the decision as earlier as you can, it's much easy to
arrange everything. Even if CTOY didn't have the rooms or conference room,
we can also arange the other places for the board.
I will look forward to the accommodation for you, but please do not hesitate
to contact me or the tean, should you require any further information.
DAUCTER
Hi all,
As I was not able to figure out who is responsible for what at Wikimania
2007 planning and my last request did not achieve to get to the last
Wikimania Taipai Team meeting I would like to repeat my question:
1. What will accomodation cost at Wikimania 2007 location (CTOYAC)?
2. How many days you can stay? Can you come earlier and stay longer if
you want?
Please add the answer at
http://wikimania2007.wikimedia.org/wiki/Venue
And update the misleading list

We'd like to have the techs a little more involved in Hacking Days
planning than last year; Ivan did a fantastic job at arranging a
tech-themed mini-conference, but it wasn't really what we expected and I
think it ended up less productive and more stressful and hectic than it
should have been because of that.
Who should we be talking to on the program committee or whatever to make
sure everybody's on the same page? I want everybody to both have a blast
and get some stuff done at the same time. :)

Just a quick note -- there was a little spate of vandalism on the
wikimania2006 site (http://wikimania2006.wikimedia.org) last week. I
think it's all cleaned up now, but this is just a reminder that this
is still an open wiki, and if folks could remember to help check it
every once in a while that would be appreciated!
cheers,
phoebe

Well my Mom says

I however have images turned off on my modem line, so it doesn't
matter to me. OK, see you all here in Taiwan in 8/2007.

Hi all,
I'm trying to get a sense of how much the conference and accomodation
fees will be this year. Even if these have not yet been finalised, can
someone give me a rough figure? (I'm trying to put together a funding
proposal.)
Also on funding (if this application is not successful), is there any
indication of how much money will be available for funding/scholarship
applications this year? I see that R.O.C. has been nominated to
coordinate scholarships - should I contact him directly? Should I do
this on the Wikimania'07 wiki or does someone have his email address?
Thanks,
Cormac (Cormaggio)
